LAG checks the turn, Do I value bet 2nd pair OOP?

In this hand villain is 55/22/2 after about 50 hands and the only read I have on him is that he raised with 64os in MP. My question is, with an aggressive guy like this is it better to bet out or check to induce a bluff? I figured that he'd call me with a lot of junk and if I was beat he'd have bet on the turn. Is this just a basic value bet?
