Certain machines that offer 100%+ payback according their payout schedule can be beat with perfect strategy. Been playing video poker(gambling) as a professional for a long time and many of my profits and comps have come via video poker.

See ya in Tunica,

Thanks Micro. I'm not joking about the meal comps. At first I would just walk up to the desk over in the back corner and stand there until someone came walking over. I'd just hand them both mine and my wife's players cards and they'd ask where I wanted to eat. No questions asked. After a day or two, I'd head towards the desk and Heather would see me and make a b-line over there to help me. But even when she wasn't around, I never had a problem.

I play a little video poker every blue moon when I'm bored or waiting for a seat in the poker room, so I know very little about video poker. I do know that I saw some 9/6 Jacks or Better .25 cent machines at GS one night while I was waiting around for my wife and goofing off. Not sure about the "full pay" because I didn't look at the max credits. If that doesn't even make sense to a real video poker player just ignore me.lol

Congrats on the royal ND!! I've never hit one in poker or in video poker.

Oh and yes we used players cards anytime we stuck even a nickel in a machine. We were able to use our Horseshoe/Harrahs cards at the Sheraton, but like I said, we didn't do much there at all besides roulette and a tiny amount at the slots on the way out the door.

Thanks Chipr, wish I'd been able to play more with ya'll at the Shoe this time. Being an anniversary trip with my wife, I hated to just up and leave her playing $3/6 at GS to come get in on the good $4/8 action at ya'lls place.

There is also a donut/desert counter that had some of the best looking fresh baked donuts I’d ever seen, however, I was always to full to try one.
