Programming related question (seeking to create a program)

It doesn't seem that 2+2 has a software development related forum so I figure this is the best place for these two questions.

1. I've started playing Omaha, and after seeing the Omaha Poker Coach program thread on this forum it got me thinking. I'd like to create a simple program that reads in the users four hole cards in real time, runs calculations based on Edward Hutchinson's Omaha point system, and prints out the corresponding point value of your four hole cards. I can do everything except figure out how to read the hole cards in real time, it doesn't seem like they are printed out to the dealer console in game or any logfile on the computer so I'm unsure as to how to go about doing this.

Second question ties in with the first: Does anyone have any clue how to do this or is able to point me in the direction of a poker-related software development website (legal programs only) where questions such as these could be answered?

hi ryan, OPC just do it for you and the problem is another .
I am looking some strategy to insert into OPC. SHORTSTACKING (Rolf Slotboom) WOULD PROBABLY BE THE FIRST.

Maybe if you gave an idea which site you are wanting to get this information from, someone may have an idea how to do so?
