Tough spot. I mean, it could just be hand like JT or even a worse made hand with no real draw like AT, and you did just pull ahead of T9, too. But the pot-sized turn bet is not encouraging, and, if you're behind, your outs situation is not as good as it appears on first glance.

So the fold seems all right to me, although I probably would have made a stubborn call, hoping in vain to get checked to on the river.

Could be worth it to raise on the flop for information, but I'm not sure that would be any cheaper than calling a turn bet. I'd put villain on a set or a straight here a lot, he is leading into the PFR.

I could not really see him doing this on JT, since a draw like this would probably c/r me or bet less. For me it was either AT, or a monster so I decided not to raise and just call him down for the right price, but the turn did not look very good and a river would be a clear push from him. I just do not know if it was a little nitty, but the guy seemed all right.

I think I play it similar - raising the flop allows sets/2pairs to 3bet and we lose our 1 card draw so I think calling is best - on the turn we beat Tx[ and are str8 drawign dead if he has a FH] but you say villan hasn't done anything stupid yet so I think a fold is fine given he'll likely be the river.

I wil call turn and fold river if villan is a thin vbettor or bluffs scary boards but no evidence so I think turn fold is goot.
I do think calling turn and folding to a river bet is bad though so only do it to snap of drawing bluffs.
