Question to 180ers
I'm playing exclusively 4/180s and I'm having a situation happening to me a lot:
My stats say that I get into the money 20% of the time, but most of the time I get busted before the final table. Independently the number of chips I have when there's 18 left, I lose all of them until I get to the final table (sometimes I'm the chip leader and get out in 3 or 4 hands). I'm thinking about click in the sit out button and wait for the final table, but there's a better strategy, I presume. Any thoughts about the best strategy for this period before the final table? Specially with a medium to large stack? |

Re: Question to 180ers
Ramping up aggression prior to final two tables as the tables shorten + when reaching the FT Bubble.
Steal on medium stacks who are tightening up for the FT, etc. |

Re: Question to 180ers
Loosen up your game more. If you don't properly adjust to the shortened tables later on, then you'll eventually blind so low that you'll have no choice but to shove preflop. Steal from the button often. Play more aggressively postflop.
I know it's pretty cliche, but play to win rather than to just sit out to the final table. |

Re: Question to 180ers
Or maybe you loosen it up too much. Maybe you're trying to steal 4 times each round and trying to be too fancy?
Post some bubble hands inhere, will be way easier to figure it out |
