congrats what games were you playing?\ i wish i would've seen this post earlier. i was so bored all weekend that i would've gladly driven to shreveport from dallas to play poker with internet strangers

Well you're excited about playing poker, not excited about Shreveport. Shreveport is a hole that is only slightly reasonable because of the Casinos and to a smaller extent GM.

The being said my first live poker (at a casino) was played in Shreveport at the Hollywood and I walked away a winner, so I can't complain too much about that.

I guess going to Shreveport could be a great event if you lived in New Orleans and managed to evacuate before Katrina hit and made it to Shreveport to play poker. But thats about the only time
