Default NL 100: First post in SSNL - line check with QQ

Hello I just moved up from NL50 to NL 100. This is my first post in SSNL.
My first impression is that the games are much more aggressive preflop. Am I right ?

Raise more PF as your OOP. $14-16 looks good. What do you expect him to call you with here that you beat? Do you think he ever folds a better hand?

if you make it 14 pf and then 23 on the flop, this leaves a turn shove of roughly 57 into 75, making it much more likely for opponent to call with a pair or draw u beat.

Checking is fine as a bet turns our hand into a bluff, wouldnt fold to a shove but its OK i guess.

any history? Have you got an image? I can only see c/f being good here. I doubt he's floating the flop and betting worse often. I don't think AJ would bet here (assuming it called pf)
