Default turn spot - call or raise?

villain is unknown.
my image is tag if that's been noticed.
is this sort of wa/wb, or standard calldown, or standard raise? if it's a raise is it a value raise and bet most rivers or is it a free showdown raise?

I'd raise, as you got checkraised on the flop by a whole lot of draws that'll keep on paying for cards.

This isn't wa/wb, a draw for villain is a likely holding.

It's a value raise.

People are more likely to give up with a busted draw on the river when you call that turn card, so we want to charge draws those times. Also worse pairs will often check/call the river. They'll usually calldown from the turn raise so we make 1 more bet in that case unless they fold the turn, which rarely happens.

It should never be a free SD raise for several reasons. The two most important being that you cant fold to a 3-bet and you are not folding a better hand.

Easy peasy value raise and value bet the river.

grunching

If he is unknown he probably hasn't noticed you either? I'd call down against unknown player. If you had reads he was a TAG/good player/aggro retard who could very well be doing this with draws you could raise turn for value amiright?

edit: Read other responses, wow. Maybe it's because I play in very L/P games I feel that the average player doesn't do this with draws.

So what do we do if he 3bets turn? Calldown every time (for reads)? Aren't we toast then?

I tend to raise on this card with a lot of different hands, and bet the river. Including your current hand here helps to balance out all the horrible -EV of all those other crap hands that I raised with.
