I'm watching the 50NL games at FT as I'm going to be playing there next week - wtf is with this line I keep seeing?:

MP1 raises $2
MP2 shoves $53

or:

Fold fold fold
CO shoves $63

Obviously its aces everytime but wtf? And why do people call with QJ suited? What's going on? I've been watching three table for 20 minutes and I've seen this 5 times. Is this standard at FT 50NL?

Because it's not. In fact, it is so standard that it falls well within the category of running normally. Not running good, not running bad, just running standard.

Deal - no, not standard. Pretty unusual actually, but you do see it occasionally. Maybe once every few thousand hands. Usually a monster scared of playing postflop but sometimes a maniac with nothing or a monkey with 99.

nah but i heard about the old days about party, i guess hollywood is waht party used to be. And if pple are that bad u cant lose over nearly 10k hands right?? Or is variance that crazy. They call ur pushes with high cards or bottom pairs all the time, they go all the way with the weirdest draws. On party u got those too, but they were kinda rare, u had to stalk them and table select a little. Here there is an abundance of them.

I dont even cbet anymore on half my tables, just thin value bets, theyll call with the weirdest hand that got me beat if i cbet too much.

On party i got out of 10 Bi ds and im kinda frustrated by all the beats im enduring. I also ran like [censored] there for 10k hands.

okay i never really have trouble with hands here but wtf was this hand. relevent reads on the guy are probably nothing. typical nit and probably some 2+2er since he was on almost all the tables i was on. probably just hudbotting.
14.3/10/~ 22 hands. hasnt shown anything down yet. im running kinda slow at this table at 17/7/3 because im not even bothering with this huge station that is calling every hand pf. hes still getting really crazy by being 70/30/5 or some crazy [censored]. im overlimping a ton of his hands and calling his raises with anything playable.

quick question about my stats: my VPI SB is about 1-2% lower than my vpip, leak? Also my folded sb to steal is 85-90% depending on limits, could this be the reason? Anyone have links to good posts on blind defense and is it crucial in nl?

easy shove spechel....i find hesitation=weakness ...or bathroom break. either way qq 5 handed when they donk into u is usually ahead...and ure not deep enough to lay down
