Like Needle, I don't want to comment on the game out of superstition, but does anyone else want to kill themselves when they hear that damned Mercedes commercial?

Well that was 296. All I'll say is Tommy did everything today. scored a run, drove in 2 runs, pitched well, made a nice defensive play and saved the bullpen. That's more than I ask of any pitcher. Heilmann did another good job in a meaningless situation, well normally meaningless. I would have boycotted the team if they had lost tonight.

Onto tomorrow.

Baseball Tonight has to depress me by showing 3 or 4 replays of Kenny Rogers walking Andruw Jones to give up the winning run in the 1999 NLCS. I hate that man.

What do you guys think, on that ball that was hit into the Bermuda triangle behind 2nd base does Beltran pre-collision with Mike Cameron get that ball? It always seems in a situation where its possible that he could get close to another player he gets very shaky.
