All you PT and HUD users make me sick. Of course your against this idea. The fact is, you can't win/breakeven without cheating...

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL. Rizen, Sheets, etc can't win/breakeven without using these tools.

If sites offered poker tracker and huds and the what nots that people get by themselves all would be equal. But all is not equal as poker in its truest form does not have a stored data base of everyones actions to look upoen before they make a decision.Because sites do not ban these tools does not make it right.People who play poker on line really have no idea what they are up against.

Most do know by now, and they either don't play or take it into account and play accordingly.

The free lunch is mostly over. The grinders will continue to add tables and tighten up to the point they will simply burn out. I can't imagine trying to sit and grind in the ways I see described on here. Way more work than work.

Cake poker allows players to change there names every week if they like.
This is a better solution.

That is the perfect solution, and the one that I think will ultimately be used. But instead of changing every week/day or whatever, players will be allowed to use any name that they want for that table/session/hour, etc. It will happen across the industry, it's just a matter of when.

Why would people start adding tables now? I find I play best at 4-tabling, and my concentration level goes way down after 6. I don't have any plans to add more tables. Also, I'm looking forward to good players tightening up. I'd much rather play against a 13/8 than a 20/15 in a 6-max NLHE game.

im not saying PT is cheating
Im saying that anyone who is any poker ability at all would be much better off in the LONG RUN if nobody used PT. Ofcourse there are great poker players who use PT, but most of the time its a bunch of multitabling NITS trying to grind out some rakeback who want people to write programs to use Pokertracker on sites that expressly say its not allowed (which IS cheating) and have there table limits increased to some obscene number so the games dry out even quicker.

Uh, I think you mean HUDs, not PT. I don't know of any sites that disallow PT.

Thread sux. Why is it that every month some baboons come along making a fuss about HUD users? Or Multitablers. (Obviusly assuming those groups of players have to be equivalent.)

Can't you find some other excuses why you fail to beat the games?

Thankfully Stars will not be taking any such silly stance:

[ QUOTE ]

Finally, from the psychological side, in face-to-face poker you can
remember a person by their appearance, their mannerisms, or their
name. Chris Moneymaker will always be recognized as himself when he
enters a card room. Online, all those things are gone. The only
thing a player has to identify you as an opponent at the table is your
user ID, and your image (which we do permit to be changed more
easily). It would be unfair to other players to "get to know" your
playing style (taking notes, etc), and then permit you to close the
account in favor of a different user ID. To keep all players on the
same playing field, we limit players to one account per person, and no
user ID changes.
