Canterbury recently implemented an electronic system and what once was the best cardroom (tied w/ Commerce) at seating players has now become an enormous clusterfuck.

It's funny because one of Wynn's challenges is that they don't fill open seats fast enough. And the entire management team is from Canterbury.

The reason Canterbury has always been so good is that they have several girls who have worked there or years and are always on the ball. Not sure training or management has anything to do with it.

Don't know if they have any way to modify the software, but this seems like a very easy problem to address with as minor a change as each player on the list also given a serialized number between 0-1000 which rolls over. You list the first 10 players on the list along with their number (or even just the number of the first player on the list) and everyone else knows how far down on the list they are.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just to clarify, this means that a player on a list for multiple games would be given multiple numbers, right?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes - each list has it's own number - they could easily print the numbers on a cash register type reciept so you don't have to remember multiple numbers (or just write them on a post it).
