He knew you were full of [censored] and called you down. Its a basic flaw in the donks game, I call it the "Bluff-Calldown" If you can convince them that you're bluffing, they'll call you down with any two cards in the deck, despite overwhelmingly bad pot odds, the fact that the hole cards they possess cannot even beat the board, in spite of all that they'll call with nothing and you'll be "caught" without the hand you're repping, still get the pot because your crap is better than his, and he gets the pleasure of saying "I knew you didnt have 4s"

They'll make some incredibly tiny bet on the river into a decent pot, a bet so small that basically anyone will call with anything because they are getting 10:1, 20:1, wever, and then they turn over total air. Presumably they figure the lower the bet is the more it looks like a value bet, never thinking that value bets are so named because they almost always get called. Tony |
