Default pokerstars waiting lists

i put my name on waiting lists, and i eventually get popups and everything's gravy. after about a half hour as i continue to put my name on other waiting lists, the popups stop coming and the timer to accept the seats expires. even if i go directly to the table without the popup, they won't let me sit down. happened the last 2 times i played.

anybody else have this problem? am i doing something wrong here?

How many tables are you trying to play?

I had this happen one time.

I wasn't seeing the 'seat is ready for you' announcements because I had closed one of the tables where there was an announcement or quickly clicked something in the lobby or something.

Perhaps it was something to do with minimizing the lobby when there was an announcement up there. But it was clear that I just wasn't able to see the announcements because I had done something to somehow 'hide' them somewhere.
I'm not really sure how exactly I did it though.

Pay attention and maybe you can figure it out.

this happens to me frequently. I won't get the msg to join the table, but i get the msg that says "You didn't respond in time, you seat has been given up."

it happens pretty frequently for me.

Do you use any AHK scripts that might prevent the popups?

I got this the one time and I do not use AHK scripts.

I absolutely know it had something to do with closing a window while the 'take your seat' message was on or something like that and then the rest of the messages were hidden from me.

i think microbob might be on to something... haven't pinpointed the problem exactly, but something along those lines is definitely the culprit. happened for the 3rd time tonight... this time 2 hours in.

if it happens to you once then you are stuck with it for the rest of the session I'm pretty sure.

So once this happens to you then you need to log-out and log back in.
If you want to keep your seat on all your tables then you need to sit-out at all tables, disconnect internet connection, and THEN close the pokerstars client. That way your seats will still be waiting for you when you come back...and you MIGHT actually get that seat-announcement thing back (just guessing, but I suspect this would work).
