Rough series. Rockies managed to grind out every win, and our pitching was pretty good, too.
Probably any other team, and I'd be upset about getting sweeped to, but something about the Rockies doesn't make me mad. Maybe it's that I grew up rooting for them with Walker, Bichette, Galarraga, etc... or maybe it's just because their team is loaded with fantasy studs. Shrug. |

g-bebe,
I strangely know what you mean. I mean, I was kinda bummed losing 2/3 to Colorado...but I was happy for them too. Hrm. |

The Yankees are still going to win 90 games. Is that enough?

Well, with Clemens and Hughes on the mound, Yanks = >70%, [/ QUOTE ] That seems rather optimistic for a 21 year old pitcher with two career starts and a 45 year old pitcher who has started 1-2. |

The Yankees are still going to win 90 games. Is that enough? [/ QUOTE ] WC leaders (Detroit and Oakland unless Detroit moved ahead of Cleveland last night) are on pace to win 96 and 89 games respectively. Oakland is a perennial second half team, too. I think WC wins at least 93. |

fwiw, "Postseason Odds, PECOTA version" has the Yankees at 28% to make the playoffs. (25% Wild Card, 3% chance division champ)

[/ QUOTE ] One of the stupides things said on this forum in a long time (and by that I mean since the tiger HGH thing). Especially since he has 21 K and 4 BB in 16 innings so far. |
