Re: NL25 TT
I agree reraise pre-flop.
As played I think this looks fine. |

reraise preflop, makes the hand easier to play [/ QUOTE ] I think it might make it easier to play but I also think it's less EV. |

Re: NL25 TT
Mix it up with RR preflop here, maybe 75 raise, 25 call. The real difference in terms of EV here comes in when you're opponent bricks a Axx, Kxx, Qxx board but cbets and you fold. Of course, if you RR preflop and the flop is A x x, villain may c/r with AK which loses you your preflop RR and cbet.
As played I want to find a raise on the flop or turn here, preferably flop. Villain is probably c-betting or has a draw of some kind, may be better to wait for a safe turn card before putting more money in since they may push a drawy hand like AdKd if you reraise. |

Re: NL25 TT
jessy - I was comparing the EV of re-raising preflop versus calling preflop, both lead to different situations on later streets and thus the EV of RR preflop/calling preflop depends on the bets you lose/make later on.

[/ QUOTE ] If I call preflop, I'm never folding to a continuation bet, no matter what comes. The reason for calling preflop is that if I reraise then TT is at the bottom of my range of hands. So if I reraise preflop, then I can't really expect the villain to be calling with worse hands. Therefore, I don't think there's much more value in reraising with TT vs 22. Whereas, if I call then TT is at the top of my range and the value on the flop is significantly different. |
