So im at caesers indiana tourney heads up with an older guy who has a massive watch on. The watch is 100% see through in that you can see all the workings and tons of things are moving about. He tells me it was a present from his wife and that it is indeed a Patek and only 25 were produced. I cant find images or info on this watch anywhere...10 bucks on ftp to anyone who gets me history and a few pics of it.

yeah I googled it for a bit... I think there's the strong possibility that this guy was full of it and/or it's sooo rare that there's no internet record of it... the latter of which is highly unlikely.
try bbv4l though, some of them are highly resourceful |

95% sure it's a fake. recent skeletonized (NOT just see trough from the back of the watch -ie he has to take the watch of and flip it to see the mechanism-, that one is standard) PP limited to 25 just doesn't ring a bell
here are two fakes: http://www.watch-replica.net/replica...tic_PP_25.html http://www.watch-replica.net/replica...tic_PP_34.html for real ones, Breguet is the most known brand for skeleton ![]() and Chronoswiss probably the cheapest that's still decent at $8K ![]() those are the only skeleton Patek Philippe I know, none limiterd to 25 btw. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

lol, didn't see the 10bucks thing, I don't even play on ftp anyway..I'm on stars as greenleafl, if you don't have a PS account well, too bad.
just wanted to add, the fake movement could still be moving despite it's a fake, what they do is take Chinese made movements for these fake watches, so it actually works! |

They do exist but no information or record of them. They were offered to people who have bought lots of PP's before to make them feel special and exclusive thus no public record of them that I know of.
A friend has the same watch not sure what it ran him but to be offered one you need to already own lots of PP's. FWIW it's a nice watch but not worth loosing sleep over.. seriously its a watch. This kind of 'promotion' is done by all luxury brands as it builds a personal attachment to it. Not sure what else to say. If you have any other questions then pm me. FWIW i dont know too much about watches just saw my friend wearing it and asked him what the deal was. |
