Folding a set for one bet on the river is generally stupid. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about this one.

Raise preflop to isolate the CO.
I call the river... your opponent will have 77, J9, or will be completely bluffing enough for the call to be profitable. |

Easy call, it's 1 bet and the pot is > 10 BB.
Are you going to see a straight here? Alot of the time yes, but not >90% of the time. CO might have 2 pair, might have 77, might have an overpair to the board. So go ahead and make the call here and have you fist ready to hit something when you see the probably straight. Oh and a bad fold that costs you a huge pot stings worse and alot longer than the 1 bet necessary to call on the river there. |
