[/ QUOTE ] Fair enough, but I can't think of any examples of a "-ourn" that are pronounced any different. Can you think of any off the top of your head?

When I saw TURNament, I thought of Bill Fillmaff's pronunciation, which I always found weird. He pronounces it like "turn" (4th street)-ament. I think pronouncing it "torn" (ripped)-ament is also weird. The word is derived from "tour", so it's "tour"-nament. Which is in between the two above. So if you're arguing for either one in the OPs post, you're wrong. [/ QUOTE ] So you say TWO-urh-nuh-ment? Wtf? LOL [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
