Default $50NL : AK - limp reraise

I decided to vary my play with AK here, deciding that as villain was aggressive and always raising on the button i would go for a limp reraise.Villain had been playing loosish and had been at the table for 20 mins or so and seemed to be raising limpers when in position.

1) im thinking that I didnt reraise enough preflop( maybe $7 or $8?)

2) Is it better to check/call this type of flop as i often find some players do try a move and raise when the board is paired like this.

3) Given that i reraised preflop showing strength and am now raised on the flop is this an auto fold?

4) Should i be folding this turn?

If you even think about folding you should have folded preflop.

um...not really. it's not an easy fold, but it was a really bad PF raise. he could literally have ATC that he would open here because it was a min raise to call back.

If he's raising all the time on the button, he has a wide range here. You have a hand that's good enough to play back at him. Your preflop raise doesn't accomplish anything. Push all-in and either he folds or he calls (with a bad hand) and you see all five cards. If you hadn't posted the results, I would've raised bigger to isolate. But I think all-in > minraise preflop.

1) Raise more preflop. At least make it $7. Or just call preflop... Your raise wasn't enough to really define his hand, or induce a fold, but it built the pot you'd have to play out of position the rest of the way. Not an ideal outcome.

2) Betting the flop is fine. If you don't, he probably will, whether it helped or not.

3) I'd be wary of that flop min-raise... Seems like a bet that really wants a call -- villain can't raise $7 on a $19 and expect most opponents to fold here unless they have nothing. You've shown strength twice before this, but he doesn't seem concerned by the ace on the board. It's not an auto-fold, but I'd have to think hard before calling. If he was on a draw, he might just call to see the turn as cheap as he could. If this was a bluff, or a semi-bluff, I'd expect a bigger raise. This sure seems like a bet that wants a call. I think I fold here. If you call, what's your plan on the turn?

4) Ack... this turn bet could mean anything, since he's pot-committed, and you've shown weakness by checking. Then again, he's shown strength throughout this hand. Again, his shove is only a fraction of the pot, so it's not something he will often expect to induce a fold. If he had a weaker ace or a missed draw, he might just check it down...

I don't like limp/raising, but if you do it :
raise to 7$ and don't fold on a board like this.

Although this is a minraise I can't see how one could fold this... Either shove on the flop or bet allin on the turn. As said you idea preflop was nice, you only should have raised it to 7 or 8 though. Take the 7 BB's.
