Daniel might have spoken up about Kido's "call" because the other guy in the hand was an amateur and very polite. The other guy might not have much experience with the rules and might have been too nice to bitch about it.

Danny didn't know if Gary Kainer wanted a call or not, therefore he should STFU.

Not sure about Gary Kainer's political affiliation but he sure seems like a Bushbot.

Nice structure folks.

There is no such thing as not being in a hand in a tournament when it comes to issues like that. Every player's equity is affected by other players' actions.

I didn't like the 999 hand. The guy bet the flop, which is good since dn is a calling station, I would have then checked the turn because dn likes to bet the turn after a flop bet/turn check.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah - I thought he should have taken this line too ... would have gotten DN to put some money in on the turn almost certainly. Act like the flop bet was a cbet gone badly, then CR him on the turn -- or check-call and VB river.

I should have been pretty obvious that Kainer didn't want a call -- and it was even more obvious that Kido didn't WANT to call ... which is maybe why DN made an issue of it? Or maybe just to force two players to be in a large pot?

I absolutely agree that Daniel shoulda STFU; he was very obnoxious in this one, very, VERY lucky, yet still saying he was "playing his A game"; he had no business giving his opinion on Kido's play, but at least the ruling was right...
