Default Absolute Poker BBJ

What is this AP BBJ thing I see on the side of the side of the client window? I really hope this thing doesn't fly. They rake is drastic enough there as it is.

It looks like just a few tables are highlighted in Red as Jackpot tables at each limit.

it seems like those are the only tables with games going, too. i can't find any info on their site that says how much they are raking for the jackpot or what the rules are to hit it.

this sucks.

That's AP for you. They used to be my main site, I don't even play there anymore.

Right now it looks like they are taking .50c out of the rake THEY collect and putting it in the bad beat jackpot. It appears they are not taking any extra, but feeding it from their own pockets.

New Bad Beat Jackpot tables have been added!

The Bad Beat Jackpot is only available at jackpot tables under the Holdem / Fixed Limit tab. At each jackpot table a contribution of 50 cents is collected for each hand that has four or more players dealt in and a rake that is collected. The jackpot grows until someone wins!

The Bad Beat Jackpot is won if you have a four of a kind, 2's or better, and still get beaten by someone else who has a better hand. The best hands for both the pot winner and the loser (bad beat) must include their two hole cards. Four or more players must be in the hand for the jackpot to be paid out.

my guess is they that upped to rake to compensate for this. I really can't see AP giving back such a large portion of their Rake considering they have been cutting back on bonuses and rakeback all year.

My guess is that this .50 is not included in MGR also?

It's only a few full ring limit tables, no NL and no 6 max.
