Well I posted a hand that I got a lot of [censored] for yesterday that was similar to this (in that we are both taking very aggressive approaches early to try to build a big stack). However, I'm going to be a hypocrite and say I don't like this. I like it a lot better if you have A4s. Then your A might be good for some more outs. KQs is obviously great. Even 8sXs is great. With 43s you are liable run into other flush draws (which are obiously higher) which basically makes you coolered.

i agree, and i also agree that the 4.40/180 mans on stars are soooooooo beatable that you don't need to make this play this early on.

65s = 43s here, FWIW.

Overall, when called, I expect you probably have 28% equity

Agreed. And I'd rather do this with J2s than with 43s.

i no like. id call. if the utg is a call station thats good will get money off him if we hit flush

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah. Can't exactly double float with those stacks given expected size of BB's turn bet. Not that many turns I can shove either.

Thanks, all.

not sure what you're trying to say but 65 has a gutshot straight draw on the board.

Which Jx negates. Those aren't full outs.
