Along for the ride (TPMK on a paired board)
Another interesting hand. The more agressive villain seems to be on the tight side but his passive/aggressive side isn't defined. Other villain is unknown.
I don't like the idea of taking WA/WB with so many opponents and since I've decided not to fold I raise. I assumed that the second villain wouldn't fold the turn to another raise, perhaps that was an error. I also didn't want to get reraised on the big streets. Do you fold flop instead? Do you raise again on the turn? As always, comments on all streets welcome. Re: Along for the ride (TPMK on a paired board)
KQ is a possibility for MP1 i suppose, cant see what else you are behind that a tight player would limp from MP, Kxs? I would have raised the flop as well, he doesnt seem bothered about your raise though , Im guessing u lost, but i would find it hard to fold too. Not much help i know, these are hands i have trouble with too
u lost to AT, while BB called down with Ax? |

Re: Along for the ride (TPMK on a paired board)
I need a read to raise the turn. If he DOES have something like AT I'll make a note. I still may not want to raise the turn cuz he might fold! And BB for that matter.
This is kind of like Mile's hand in that other thread where he let the aggressive person keep betting while he called down, too. It could be if he's got Ax then he's folding to a turn raise, so calling down gets you the most. I think calling down here is fine. |

u lost to AT, while BB called down with Ax? [/ QUOTE ] how does this make sense? he beats AT. I put villain on Axs. if he has anything else, put a note on him for open-limping. |

Re: Along for the ride (TPMK on a paired board)
Without reads, I call call call. If 2 players yet to act want to over call unprofitably with a hand like Ax or under pair or who knows what else, then more money for me. Those hands might fold for 2bets and you open yourself to a 3bet.

Re: Along for the ride (TPMK on a paired board)
flop raise is goot, provided you can fold to a 3-bet. In this case you can be sure he has trips.
On the turn I put him on KT... a) open limps PF b) was not sure about his kicker on teh flop (villain fears AK) c) improves to a FH and is scared it gets checked through ...or QJ. a) dito b) wants to pump his draw on the flop c) makes his straight and is scared it gets checked through I can't help the feeling that we're done with our hand on the turn. The calldown is merely for curiosity. |

Re: Along for the ride (TPMK on a paired board)
I've got to disagree.
If he had KT he'd check/call the flop and check/raise the turn, guaranteed. Nobody at these levels bets out when they flop trips. No way QJ bets that flop. I think it's more likely that it's like A5, and he liked when the T came because his kicker didn't play anymore. Yeah...I give Zel credit for being able to post a hand he might not have lost. |
