LO8 - I need to loosen up on the button ( and c/o ).

I’m playing way too tight. My VPIP is 17 in 7-9 handed play. What hand range should I be playing in late position assuming a couple of limpers. Also, what would change if I’m opening from late position. In addition to the standard A2, A3 and 4 big card hands, I’m playing A4s, A5s and AA xx as long as one ace is suited or it’s working in some other way, Also, I’m playing hands like AKK8, AQQ8, 23(small, x).

I would have thought this loose enough to have a VPIP of greater than 17 ( after about 5000 hands), but apparently not (I’m thinking, it’s entirely possible that my first 5k hands have been pretty unlucky as far as catching playable hands). Should I be playing virtually any suited ace against both multiple opponents and when I’m opening? So far, I’ve only played a suited ace if I have something else working with it.
