Default KK: are you [censored] this up, dude?

i reserve the right to make at least one YOU ARE OUT OF YOUR ELEMENT, [insert noob's name]! in this thread.

live game.

villain is a terrible fish. he limps almost all the time. i've seen him lead at pots a few times (usually limped pots -- the kind that happen when i don't have anything good), so he's not totally passive.

early in the session, i raised with AK and got HU with villain on the flop. i lead the 832 flop, bet turn, and checked river. he turned over T8o or something.

a little while later, i raised UTG with AQ and again got HU with villain. i lead J-high flop, lead turn, checked behind river. villain tabled 22 and commented about the AK hand from earlier where i'd "bet in a similar pattern".

on to this hand. villain limps UTG. hero RAISES from utg+2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. bb calls and villain calls.

* FLOP * J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 SB)

bb checks, villain checks, HERO BETS, bb folds, villain calls.

* TURN * 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 BB)

villain looks back at his cards and BETS. hero calls.

* RIVER * J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 BB)

VILLAIN BETS, HERO RAISES, VILLAIN 3BETS, hero calls.

i'm more inclined to raise the turn than the river

and i'm not super inclined to raise at all but if i were to do so it'd be the turn

I'd just calldown. I would guess it's either a draw or a monster from his turn donk, and he'll usually bluff the river with a busted draw.

Edit: I don't think the action is influencing my decision, but you might want to cut it off when you raise his river bet.

turn and river is super inconsistent. on the turn you don't raise why?

1) his range is skewed toward monsters and air. or
2) you expect to be beaten too often in general.

the river makes no difference whether it's case 1 or 2.

and folderson to the 3-bet.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what word is [censored] in the title.

He's announced he thinks you bet flop and turn with overcards, so he's taken matters in his own hands this time in case you don't bet. His inspection of his hand on the turn lends me to believe he thinks he might have hit 2 pair, or now has a flush draw...

Seems fine to me. He may have something like J8c here and lucked out on the river, but I'd still raise it and I'd still call it. He may have 67o.

Maybe I am missing something, but what do you gain by raising this river? You might be ahead but is your read on villain that he is bad enough to call down your river raise with something that you beat here? I would think even less of a chance that he would raise anything you beat. Fish call down c-bets all the time with garbage pairs, but calling a river raise is a whole different story.
