I hope he runs just for the 3 person debates. Plus if it is
Hillary vs. Thompson which I bet it will be....I'll be voting for Bloomberg

Yeah, most people in this forum don't seem to care much for paying attention to real-world politics. They would much rather debate whether Ron Paul will betray the cause by refusing to dismantle the federal court system once he is inevitably elected president.

[/ QUOTE ]

No one has said that Ron Paul will "inevitably" be elected president. It is, however, only natural that people would be interested and excited about the only candidate who isn't a statist and would actually move this country back in the right direction. This country is much more statist at this point than the average person. (not saying the average person is libertarian, just less statist that the government is currently)

Who says Giuiliani is attractive to either of those options?

[/ QUOTE ]
His base is moderate Republicans and conservative Democrats. He's leading the GOP polls now, so he is certainly drawing enough of them.

[/ QUOTE ]

No one knows who Giuliani really is. Most people are just saying his name from associative familiarity. This means nothing about how people will vote after a year of these candidates regressing to their true selves.

k $25 bucks it is. $25 to you/$50 to me--one bet is enough for me...sorry Alex.

If I lose it will be the best $25 ever spent...unless it ends up Hillary vs. Rudy...then i'll have to jump off a bridge.

Him running would be great news for the Republicans, don't you think?

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed. If Bloomberg runs he's a significant boost to the Republicans. Bloomberg is a total nanny state liberal and would leech legion votes from the democrat running, especially seeing as he has billions of dollars to campaign with.

He is the most pro war candidate of all the major republicans. He loves the war, any war. Anything that involves killing people in the middle east he is all for.

I don't see him winning centrists.
