That would be true except for the fact that no one has been prosecuted for it despite people taking their laptops and playing poker on the steps of various government buildings in Washington, so it's a fairly unenforceable law. Furthermore, there is an affirmative defense for playing poker recreationally (e.g. not running an affiliate business) in WA based on new laws proposed.

There's also that whole issue with Washington state != the United States, but I would hope you knew that.

I would hope you know that one one would enforce paypal terms if you don't let them know.

Clearly you cannot read, considering that people were playing right in front of law enforcement officials and telling them that they were indeed playing online poker.

Tell Paypal that you're trading funds for online money. That's a better analogy. If they don't do anything, then hey, you're right!

You dont think any of these transfers are against the law? What about the dude in AC who wants 5k cash for online poker funds, should we ban him? What about UB who reversed a transfer, should we ban all people who transfer UB funds?

What about the case where Pokerstars threatened to reverse a transfer? Should we ban all people who transferred via Pokerstars ?

Point is all these transactions have risk, its upto the 2 parties to decide what level of risk THEY accept. Its no one elses business to decide the level of risk others want.

Not sure why you decided to be judge jury executioner on this but I feel you dont have the right.

Honestly if 2p2 condones some transfers they should condone all. If i was 2p2 Id condone none this is very sketchy to say the least and if I owned the site I would definately consult a lawyer to protect myself.
