Default ETF\'s worth it for small initial investment?

I'm looking to invest around $10k right now, and probably adding at least 5-6k per year for the next 5 years at the very least. Is it possible to get full diversification with only 10k to start? I've been looking at Vanguard's ETF's, but really not sure which few to choose. Thanks for any help or recommendations.
