Re: Did I miss a bet on turn?
lol, you missed a flop bet. He limped then called, he doesnt have AK, we are ahead almost all the time here, do not let another card peel, if we are continuing with this flop we should be pushing a 3 bet out there on the flop, preferrably all in here since he is short.
On the turn I would bet/call. His line looks like a complete bluff by the river since he checked the turn, you need to lead 95% of the time here unless you know he is tricky and would check the turn with a straight, but i still lead almost always here. |

3betting seems like suicide to me.

3betting seems like suicide to me. [/ QUOTE ] I agree, wouldn't villain raise flop with set or 2 pair? He could easily be limp-calling 66 or 88, and unlikely but possible 68s? The check behind on the turn makes set unlikely, but two pair very possible. I would c/c river. |

Re: Did I miss a bet on turn?
I actually quite like your line here. 3-betting the flop doesn't really achieve much on the flop imo. You get a lot of worse "made" hands to fold, all better hands call, and he can't really have that many draws.
Turn card is good for you. What was your plan of action on the turn if he had bet? I think your turn action is very dependent on your opponent, and you don't really have enough hands on him to be confident of any of the PAHUD stats. "His line looks like a complete bluff by the river since he checked the turn, you need to lead 95% of the time here". Johnny, if this is the case, surely we shouldn't be betting the river? What "copmlete bluff" do we get value from? Opposite to Johnny's thinking, IMO, his turn check is more likely to represent the straight (although his flop raise probably wouldn't) - especially given that he is in position with only a PSB left. However, his range on the river is straight(although less likely because of flop raise)/sets/Kx/bluffs. I think I like check/call against this range, as most villains with value bet KJ/KT here because of you checking twice. To conclude, check/call a reasonable sized bet on the river me thinks. |

Re: Did I miss a bet on turn?
I appreciate the thoughts. His calling a PF raise and re-raising on the flop made me feel less than confident with TPGK. Wish I could say I gave it a lot of detailed thought, but I basically tucked my tail between my legs and planned to check/call the turn and river.
On the river, I checked, and he checked. He turned over KJ. |

Re: Did I miss a bet on turn?
As played I'd probably just shove the river. He's only got 50 behind and could very easily have a worse K or 98/97.
