Re: LV Trip Report #1: Escape from the Venetian
How did people learn how to play poker before 2+2? Seriously?

Oh yeah, one more thing. Please tell me you are going to bed now and that you didn't get up at 7 AM while in Vegas.

[ QUOTE ] You underestimate people 30-40. Some of the best players at the Borgata in Atlantic City are in their 30's. [/ QUOTE ] LOL, no offense, but 95% of people over 35 are terrible at poker. I'm sure there are exceptions at top tier games, but this is 2/5 at the Venetian where I am playing splashy deep with total disregard for money. [/ QUOTE ] I'm cool with being underestimated See you guys in 2 weeks......... |

Of those 5% or so are composed of the older men who play 11/5/aggressiver than most and stack morans, and anyone over the age of 35 who has won at online poker. The other 95% consists of your cab driver who usually bets sports, the guy making your sandwich at blimpie who is weak tight, your brother-in-law who just likes throwing chips around with no comprehension, and that random friend of yours from work who probably couldn't decipher the odds to make a straight. [/ QUOTE ] I am 37 years old, and I approve of this message. |
