Default 25 NL - Been 3-betting light, now I\'m 3-betting aces

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

Hero (SB): $26.65
BB: $7.60
UTG: $14.70
Villain (CO): $25.00
BTN: $37.20

Reads: <font color="blue">Villain is a TAG who is positionally aware, and I have 3-bet his button raises several times.</font>

Preflop: Hero is dealt A A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG folds, <font color="red">Villain raises to $1.00</font>, BTN folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.70</font>, BB folds, Villain calls $2.70

Flop: ($7.65) Q 8 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $3.85</font>, Villain calls $3.85

Turn: ($15.35) 5 (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">Villain bets $14.00</font>,

The question I have is on the turn... I check planning on C/R'ing any small-medium bets. Given my image he may have been planning on taking this away on the turn all along, and the stack-a-donk line seems appropriate. I would have a hard time calling a raise if I lead for 1/2 pot on the turn.

Now grunch!

Heh. Call, shove river. Why would you fold to raise if you bet turn though?

I can't see most TAG's shoving AQ to a double barrel here, so I feel like if I lead the turn and he shoves I have to give him credit for a set.

Sorry I guess I posted badly my first time, my real question is whether or not I took the right line on the turn.. C/R vs. lead?

I like the line you took. I might bet a little more on the flop.
