First big score (for me)... now what?
The goal of this isn't to come off like a BBV post. I recently had my biggest cash in a MTT of 16k. My normal game had been 33-55 sng's and 26 - 215 mtt's but never with a cash nearly that big. I proceeded the rest of the weekend to drop a quick $1500 or so just because I was playing poorly and the money seemed to lose value to me at the "lower levels."
How's does one remain focused for small stakes after hitting just a big windfall? How do I remind myself about the value of a dollar and realize that losing a $55 sng still stinks and I can still use the money if I win it. |

Re: First big score (for me)... now what?
use some of it to roll yourself up to the 109s, if you feel ready, cash out the rest. Buy yourself a few nice presents, put the rest in savings.

Yeah, I would agree to cash most out and let it make some money as investment for you...then take the rest you have and do it again
