Default 87s Fold or Push it?

PS 4/180
Blinds: 75/150

UTG+1: 3177 in chips
Seat 2: 3475 in chips
Seat 3: 1085 in chips
Seat 4: 718 in chips
Seat 5: 11725 in chips
Hero (Button): 1769 in chips
SB: 1732 in chips
BB: 4425 in chips
Seat 9: 5504 in chips

PokerStars (9 handed)
Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises to 300</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero ?</font>.

UTG+1 and BB are kind of solid, SB is more loose and likes to re-raise a lot, sometimes with marginal hands like small pairs.

Shall I push or wait for a better situation?

not against an EP raiser without a read that he is opening too many pots (and what is up with the minraise, have you seen him open with this before?)

no chance, your M is 8 and early position raise and no read = not good. if i was OTB and CO open raises to 3BB and i had a read like crazy donkey man open raises 100% in late position then i would push but not here.

a EP raise from a solid player, be afraid be very afraid. He likely to hold a big pair or something like AK. So i would say there a 3 options (as always)
1) Fold, you can be 99% sure he have a better hand
2) Call, and hope to flop a monster, otherwise itīs check fold all the way, i wouldnīt reccomend that, because itīs is way to much of your chips your risking in this pot, and the implied odds may not be there.
3) Reraise all in, if he got a monster he will call, if he have a good hand he may fold, but theres still a chance that he will call. And if he got nothing, wich you can be almost sure of he fold.

So my advice is, that the tournament is still young, wait for your monster hand, and then push him. Thereīs no need to risk it all with 87 suited or not.

def. fold, your M is right under 8 so you're not desperate, and there's a "solid" ep raiser (which btw if he really is solid his opening range from utg+1 kills 87 sooooooted)

is this serious?

fold unless he opens literally every hand and folds over 90% of the time he is shoved on.

He has a strange way to open: 1640 chips, he opens with 240 with $30 BB; then he has 1775 chips and he opens with 75 ($30 BB too). In both cases he attacks the pot after the flop with 300 chips. No showdown in both cases.
So I don't know what to read from his min-raise.

The only showdown I saw from him he had AJ in early position, with 2430 chips ($100 BB), he raised to 230, was re-raised by the small stack in the SB to 822, and called.
