Re: OFFICIAL MOVING UP THREAD
At the low levels, yes you can dodge them. The higher the player's ROI the more inclined to avoid him you should be.

Having 5 breakevens and better at a table is nuts but getting 3 should be ok. We can't sit around forever waiting for the perfect table! |

Re: OFFICIAL MOVING UP THREAD
Avoiding regulars with positive ROIs is a good start. You definitely want to avoid the solid players if you can.

Re: OFFICIAL MOVING UP THREAD
How am I doing so far? I've run 103 3.40 Turbo SNGS. So far, I've got 17 1sts, 9 2nds, 16 3rds, 9 4ths, giving me 23.36% ROI and 40.78% ITM.
Is this pretty good for this level? When should I think about moving up to $6.50? |

Re: OFFICIAL MOVING UP THREAD
Over around 500 tournaments, I have about a 21% ROI at the 6.5s. My bankroll is at $480 now, which is 30x the BI for the 16s. Can I make the move? If not, how much more should I grind out at the 6.5s?
I 4-table the 6.5s now. Anyone have any suggestions for how many tables to start with at the 16s? |

[/ QUOTE ] Wait until at the very least $800 and I would suggest $1000-1600 to be the safest. You can either mix in 16s with 6.50s or just move up completely when you are ready and keep the same amount of table syou currently play. Just be ready to drop back down if things don't go to well. |

Re: OFFICIAL MOVING UP THREAD
Gross, but that sounds right; I thought $16s at my BR might be a bit much. Thanks, Kevin.
