Re: 200NL qks on the button
[ QUOTE ]
in general, i feel people usually dont bet that turn enough. given stacks though, in this case, i think its probably worth a check behind. river is fairly straight forward fold imo. [/ QUOTE ] With these stack sizes I'd prefer betting the turn than if we were only 100-130bbs deep. Here we can pretty confidently fold to a raise and there are plenty of worse hands he'll call a bet with, and then we can check the river behind a lot (or value bet) and usually don't get into a really [censored] spot like this one. |

Re: 200NL qks on the button
I definitely fire on the flop and probably a 1/2 pot size bet on the turn and go from there. If he calls the turn I would fire the river as well. As played I think you have to fold the river, even though he may have air here.

Re: 200NL qks on the button

as in sublimes post earlier in 3 bet pots we dont need to be firing this flop all that often. esp when its suited and no broadways. PP's will look you up alot bet/fold the turn river is a fold [/ QUOTE ] Ya exactly, you need to bet that turn 2/3-pot it. Obviously river is a fold. |

Pretty much also if we bet the turn here and he flat calls most likely hes going to be checking to us and we can check behind to avoid sticky situations like this. |
