Re: Overused Movie Lines
Any variation of 'offer that he couldn't refuse'.
Don't get me wrong I love it in GF1 but [censored], it's so irritating in other movies/series. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] more courtroom stuff, kind of the same idea the defense dude says something controversial or unorthodox and the prosecutor shouts out, OBJECTION YOUR HONOR!! then the judge gets this look on his face like he's in some deep thought..hmm,.. over..ruled.... but this better be going somewhere! [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] http://youtube.com/watch?v=SXt1BeT5PmM (possibly a rickroll) [/ QUOTE ]Awesome, great find. |

Re: Overused Movie Lines
"Yeah (he or she or specific group or type of people) are the best"
They always friggen say that. It's pretty annoying. or "We'll do everything we can to find your (wife, kid, money, random valued object)" Every time they say that and they go and do everything they can. Soooooo lame. |

After a doctor explains some medical jargon...
(cliche response): "In English, Doc!" Also works for technical/scientific explanations |

Re: Overused Movie Lines
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] "There's only one man/woman/gang that is stupid/brave/smart enough to do this job...." [/ QUOTE ] Good one. Usually followed by... Man/Woman/Gang: "I'm out. I don't do that anymore. I have a family now, etc." 15 minutes later, when the s*** is hitting the fan. Random Person: "Look over there. It's (man/woman/gang)!" [/ QUOTE ] only acceptible when it's Matt "Guitar" Murphy being told by Aretha not to re-join the Blues Brother's band |

Re: Overused Movie Lines
"What did you just say?!?" or "What did you just call me?" in response to an insult and in anticipation of a brawl.
This is only acceptable when Mr. White says it in Reservoir Dogs. |
