in general, i feel people usually dont bet that turn enough. given stacks though, in this case, i think its probably worth a check behind. river is fairly straight forward fold imo.

IMHO his play screams junky suited Ax, so I would bet strong on the turn, 2/3 - 3/4 pot so if he does call its wrong. But the river is an easy fold.

as in sublimes post earlier in 3 bet pots we dont need to be firing this flop all that often. esp when its suited and no broadways. PP's will look you up alot

bet/fold the turn

river is a fold

I personally think you need to bet that flop. I didn't read the other post so I can compare to his reasoning

why do we need to bet this flop. we have no draw and its purely a bluff. we dont even have ace high and even with ace hgih there is no way this considered a value bet here

There are a few reasons,
1) He reraised preflop to a cold caller, means there is a good chance he is ahead and can take it down there.
2) If the villain has a hand we can get away from ours now and not run into bigger problems later if we catch.
3) If he has a similar had to ours we can get more money in for later because we are not normally worse than 60/40 dog.

how do we know if he ahs a hand when we bet and are called. the board is super wet with draws.

not to mention thats his vpip is 45 and this flop hits a lot of his range. so given that we bet and we now got there on the turn we dont know where we stand.

I am 75% sure he is on a flush draw. Maybe, A10. he has more than nothing for sure but not a lot(read: set).
