Default more action?

Villain is a 45/5/2. Pretty donkish, tries to get tricky a lot. FWIW im raising this turn if he bets. Also, thoughts on the flop raise, and turn plan??

I 3-bet the turn in the 1st hand and check/call the river UI if he caps the turn against me.

In the 2nd hand, I do the same. He'll have A9, A5, AQ, or an ace with a big heart enough to 3-bet the turn.

hand 1 i threebet the turn. villains with these stats tend to scattershoot and then go too nutz when they catch. This means that your kicker is in play a lot here and you're raising for value. Also, if he has A2 then you have 5 outs to suckout with. (3 fives and 1 A to chop, 3 Qs to win) I like the plan of calling intending to raise the turn fwiw.

hand 2 i call down UI and lose a lot.

I am with Guru. 3-bet hand 1 and call down hand 2.

Hand 1: Id threebang, and call down UI.

hand 2: Call down, checkraise if the board pairs.

I think hand 2 I'm just calling unless I quad up or maybe the board pairs 9's. AA/AQ/QQ are pretty big parts of his range

I don't like this plan. The other two in the pot will likely fold even when you call, and if they have the FD they will surely call. If you play this street passively, many times UTG+1 will check the turn unless he has the ace. I think you get more bets in playing the flop fast, even if UTG+1 has a smaller pair, he will often call down the flop raise.

Hand 2 seems like it has to be a lot closer to a 3-bet on the turn than people are giving credit for. This is a blind steal spot and people will often play over aggressively in these spots. Something like AxKh, AQ, A9, A5, etc. are all possible. I'm not saying its for sure a 3bet, but I think I'd lean that way.

Both seem close but I'd be more likely to 3bet hand 2.

wow i totally disagree it's 4handed button raise people go stupid on 3 flush boards all the time.

I 3-bet both hands on the turn without even thinking.
