You started with only $60 and somehow failed to get your entire stack in by the river?

I don't mean to sound harsh, but that's embarassing. Bet more on every street.

all the more amusing by the fact that it was a raised pot

i think its fine, halfpot on river would have been better

trying to get allin on a hand when the other player is not cbetting or making any bets at all is just going to lead to them folding. would any of you who say to bet more actually go to the felt on this hand with an overpair in the villians position?

id also like to know how long it took villian to check on turn and how long it took to call. this could be a huge factor in how much to bet on river.

I think that this sort of thinking is the biggest leak at small stakes poker. Simply put, people call too much, and bet too small with their big hands. Not getting enough value out of your monsters is a big mistake.

If you want to do an EV calculation in the long run, you need to weigh how much more likely they are to fold their hand vs how much more you make the percentage fo time when they call, but in general, when you have a fullhouse and 60BB, it is much better to err on the side of trying to get all in.

Preflop call is a mistake (calling 5, with only 55 behind).

You didn't even bet enough to cover for the times you miss your set. The call was clearly -ev.

I would fold for 5$ if I was only at 60$, gotta reload pre. If I was villain that is a flop I would be willing to go broke on for 60bbs, if I had JJ,QQ,KK,AA. In this spot vs an obvious overpair, if you don't get it in it makes your preflop call TERRIBLE.
