Default quick bankroll Q

i am beating 3/6 and 5/10 online 6max for 1.75BB/100 over about 100K. i haven't played enough live poker to establish a winrate, but i am very comfortable in the Bay 101 20/40 and the Bellagio 30/60.

how many big bets should i have for 40/80? 100/200?

You do need a huge roll to take a shot at the game, 200-300BB should be enough. However if you planing to play full time you need 500BB in the live game and a 1000BB online.

I agree with the 1000 BB figure for your regular game. This is big enough that you should occasionally be able to play at the next higher level when the game looks extra good. If you are unable to change around between levels then it limits your game selection, which is the biggest factor in success.
