Default $55 PS/ QQ on the bubble, fold preflop?

Both UTG and button are tight-passives. Big stack is loose donk, who likes to call off bunch of chips w/ marginal hands. So far it has been pretty slow bubble game. I'm not too happy about this fold.

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t150 (4 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

CO (t2078)
Button (t1555)
Hero (t2445)
BB (t7422)

Preflop: Hero is in SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Don't fold this. QQ is way too good and you have them covered.

You only have to beat one of them to be ITM.

Call so fast.

I fold mostly for two reasons. One, the BB might have a real hand and one of the other players could certainly have a hand as well. Two, if CO gets his money in, which it looks like he will, either you will money right there or the other player will be incredibly short stacked. Although, if you were to push, you could force out the other players because they would know that you were incredibly strong. If you did push and the other players folded, and you win, you put yourself in excellent position to win the tournament. If you lose, you still have some chips that can help you survive long enough and hope to money and/or double through.

agree.

QQ is too good to fold here. You cover both and CO might fold to your overpush (good b/c of dead money).

Don't just call, push all-in (particularly with the big stack left to act). Even a loose donk would want a big hand in this spot against a raise and two re-raises all-in.

I wouldn't be quite so sure CO will call if you push. He wants to make the money too, now one of you will be a body in the lake, why not just sit back and sip on your coke unless you've got AA or KK, especially since Hero here is a tight player.

Yes you're on the bubble, but the blinds are not crazy just yet. CO has to be MUCH more likely to stack off against the loose Button 1 on 1, and I would think only call the tight Hero with a monster, in which case you're probably out in 3rd, which isn't bad.

And if you push, and CO folds it down, QQ is always great heads up and a go against the Button.

I would call, but if the Button's stack was larger than the CO's stack, I might fold based on the fact that I could outplay him in the money, or let him hang himself on the big stack, giving me 2nd. Then again if I folded, and then had to watch CO fold, I would probably gouge my eyes out.

I guess it's a push : )
