Your TR could use more words - where do you live? How far away is the mountain? How far up did you have to hike? How's the snow this time of year?

Pictures are ballin though. A+!

I do. I have skied occasionally over the last two seasons and it reminded me that snowboarding is definitely more fun.

Goofy, my words would have only taken away from the OP, I am a terrible writer.

Anyways, to answer your questions: I live in Boulder and the peak was a little over two hours away near Alma, CO.

I woke up at 4am this morning and got to the trailhead at 7. This is one of the easier 14ers since the trailhead is at about 12,000 ft leaving only 2000 feet of vertical.

As far as the snow is concerned, its on its last legs. You have to start your descent before noon. if you don't the snow is so wet it id basically unskiiable. Not to mention the near daily afternoon thunderstorms.

We got back to the trailhead at 12:30. It was awesome. I wish i was baller enough to fly to south america they are getting dumped on right now.

EDD- Winterpark doesnt have snow anymore, all the ski resorts have been closed for a while.
