The media STILL won't call Crystal Mangrum by her name. It's still "the accuser" or "the exotic dancer" or "the African-American woman". Unbelievable.

I do remember, tho, that one of the victims' mothers basically said on 60 Minutes that they pitied Crystal more than anything, and basically considered her life punishment enough.

The ones they're mad at are Nifong & Duke. They want Nifong in jail & flat broke, & Duke to pay their legal bills.

Crystal doesn't have a 40 to piss in. If she ever wins the lottery I'm sure they'll be serving her papers the next day.

Were the lacross players saints? No, clearly not, but that's no excuse for committing horrible wrongs against them.

To name a few things that the next prosecuter can improves on relative to Nifong's conduct:

Next time maybe the accuser won't change their story multiple times thus making it difficult if not impossible to put the accuser on the stand.

Perhaps there will actually be evidence produced to support one of the stories the accuser gives.

Maybe the DA can learn what the word "discovery" means.
