wtf... am i supposed to fold these?
Both of these spots had me confused...
Hand 1: 100NL, 100 effective stacks and no reads. Button raises to 4, I defend from the SB w/ j9dd, BB calls. Flop (12): [Qd, 10d, As] I bet 10, BB raises to 25, Button pushes. I...? Hand 2: A couple of orbits later, I have 250 and have been 3betting like a madman. Villain raises UTG to 4, I 3bet from the button to 14 w/ black KK, Villain calls. Flop (29.5): [Qc, Jh, 8d] Villain donks into me for 25. I...? And if I call, what is my plan for a blank turn? a face card? |

Re: wtf... am i supposed to fold these?
hand 1: I call here. If BB comes along it's perfect. If BB folds, you still have reasonably good odds.
hand 2: Given you've been 3betting like a madman, don't call, but shove. |

Re: wtf... am i supposed to fold these?
hand 1, insta-call. oesfd, you have ~30% equity against their ranges in a 3-way all-in pot.
hand 2, what's villain's stack size ? if it's 100, I call flop and get it in on a non A turn. |

Re: wtf... am i supposed to fold these?
Hand 2: Yes, he has 100.
Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I feel like I always run into an ace-hi flush draw in situations like hand 1. |
