Default Father\'s Day and No Father

I am sure I am not the only person here that has a deceased father. What makes it worse is that today is also my mother's birthday. So there is a mix of emotions with today. It is kinda weird. I find it strange to actually say I have got use to it.

Anyone else have to deal with not having a living father on Father's Day?

sorta in the same boat. i dont consider myself to have a father. barely know him. left my mom and 2 sisters when i was 3 for some other chick. nasty legal battles about child support and higher education help and all around inappropriate language towards one another has made my view of him so negative to the point where i would be happy if i could have him erased from my memory.

I always forget that you use a signature, because sometimes you make these serious posts and then they always end in and it throws me off for a second.

I lost my dad when I was 8, I'm 19 now. These days are always especially hard.

I lost my dad on Halloween, so this is my first father's day without him. I don't really think today is especially difficult, because every day is really difficult.

Condolences to everyone in my shoes.

My dad died a few months after I turned 4. Father's Day and whatnot doesn't really bother me...I barely knew him, it's hard to miss him too much.
