Default Facing all-in with JQ suited and strong read on button

The game is 6 handed STT, and is down to three players with the blinds half way through 50-100. ($33@Party)

Hero(button) has 1750 and raises to 300
SB has 3850 re-raises all in
BB has 6250 and folds
Pot: 3600

Hero holds J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] with 1450 to call.

After having played in excess of 100 tables with the player who re-raise me all in, I respect his game, but have noticed a few leaks, some of which become much more reliable when he is multi-tabling, like he is now. My strong read makes me all but certain that he is holding a small PP. Not a medium PP, not a big PP, but a small one. Taking my chip position, pot-odds and read into account, I decide to call and he shows 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Although I am a slight favorite, as i suspected, to take down the pot, I feel conflicted about the call I just made.
If I had shoved it right away i would have gotten called by SB (BB seems content to wait for heads-up). Should I have played it differently, or maybe even folded preflop?

All feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Unless the table is super uber tight, fold this preflop.
If you raise, fold to push even if you know he have a smallPP.

I agree with this
Easy to get dominated when we get action

Thanks for the feedback, and yes, I probably should have folded. My intuition was probably dumb luck as he could easily have made the move with AQ or an even stronger hand, which would have left me looking dumb instead of lucky.
