I just don't understand the expectation of everyone to trust you, yet you don't have to trust them.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd rather that people don't trust anyone unequivocally. Some might, some won't, and most will always have some doubt.

I'd rather that they do not enter into an agreement with me until they completly understand the process by which I like to do these things, have verified my references, and have satisfactory answers to all their questions.

Only then will I expect any trust.
[ QUOTE ]
However, your demands are a bit unfair and unrealistic.

[/ QUOTE ]

My opinion differs. (No surprise there, eh?)

I'm trying to strike a balance between being reasonable and being diligent. I feel it's best to err on the side of caution. I'd rather see someone's feelings get hurt up-front, than their bankroll get hurt later on.

If somone requests a trade, then I advocate that they send first, but to only a select few that have demonstrated to have a reasonable level of trustworthiness, or in very small amounts to those without clear and continuous trade history.

That, in my opinion, is being diligent.

If your potential trading partner cannot or will not show an ability and willingness to trade fairly, then they should be avoided.

That, in my opinion, is being reasonable.

I do nit-pick, but the devil is in the details.

I have no doubt that trades can an do take place without safeguards, but I see a huge amount of fraud that can be averted.

The goal is to provide a safe haven for would-be traders, by offering advice, outing potential scammers, and by getting involved in the occasional trade.

It's a difficult task, involving money and emotions, all behind the veil of anonymity we call the internet. With your help, and the help of others, that goal can be attained.

I need to get money off of AP before I busto it lol! I got a rakeback payment a few days ago that I ran into 341 and some change, but I want it on Pokerstars where I play micro-stakes.

Hook a brotha up. I have done a trade on here before for $100 and can provide "references".
