I was gonna do it since I'm sick of poker (except it was the army, which pays better here than in the US). The 4 year service kept me away though. I'm just too independent for the military. After you leave the service there are well paying options (mercs in iraq are making a bundle).

If you aren't sure what you wanna do, I think joining the military is the worst thing you can do, simply because you get stuck for X years.

I agree with the poster who said Air Force...or the Navy. The Marine Corps is a special breed. Although many of them are crazy, I dont put them in the same kind of crazy that you are in. Maybe the Army would work. Not as hard core as the Marines but still pretty tough. The basic training might be good for you.

B) Your problems won't be solved by joining the military.

join a service organization. You'll get some meaning for your life, some structure, you won't have to kill anyone, and if you decide to quit you won't be court marshalled.

I'd suggest peace core but you probably don't qualify, so i'd say americore, definetely will give you a little perspective.
