NL100, Turned a set, facing possible trouble
Table is fishy, (Im talking VPIP's 50+ all around) Villain is 52/19/0.8 and has been running well/showing down good hands and getting paid off by the numerous calling stations at the table to build his stack.
Turn card looks like a lifesaver, until his lead into me, which threw me off a little. What do we do now? PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com saw flop BB ($107.50) Hero ($218.05) MP ($106.70) CO ($100) Button ($87.50) SB ($185) Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $4, 2 folds, Button calls $4, SB calls $3.50, 1 fold. Re: NL100, Turned a set, facing possible trouble
The only hand that beats you is 89. He could've hit two pair, a flush draw...Given that you're 200BB deep, I'd probably call and see what he does on the river. Raising isn't horrible though...But it might be ugly. I'd call because I'd want pot control.

Re: NL100, Turned a set, facing possible trouble
set vs a fish, if we are in control of the pot we really want to escalate it not diminish it. Raise it up to 65-70.

Ok, so I decide to raise (too little?), and he Insta-shoves. Are we ahead enough times here to call this, or is this a fold?
